Aspirin and similar drugs must not be taken before and after application. Following treatment, person must stay in upright position for 1-2 hours, must refrain from dense physical exercises for 24 hours. Must not be involved in sports on the day of application. Person must not have skin care the same day, skin care can be made at least 1 week later. You can have skin care prior to the filling application if you desire. Since there is a high risk of catching infections from a pool, person should not enter pool for at least 2 days. This criteria is valid for all applications that involve needles (e.g. needle laser applications). People with herpes should not have lip filling done. If you have commonly repeating herpes, you must use antiviral creams before and after the application. Make-up products and brushes must not be used for 1 day. Following the application, person must not lay facedown for 4 hours. Filling can not be applied on infected skin surfaces with acne problem. If there is no acne on the surface, the application can be done. Or, as a precaution, antibiotics can be given in cream or pill form. Don’t have dental treatments and filling at the same time . Because infections in teeth might effect the filling around mouth area. If possible, you can have dental treatment prior to the application, thus reducing the chances of an infection. You can have dental treatment 1 week after the filling application. You can use sunscreens and colourless pharmaceutical products. You can have laser applications 2 days after having filling done. Consuming large amounts of alcohol the same day might increase the risk of oedema.
